Bio-diversity
or biological diversity refers to the variety of the life forms on earth, the
different plants, animals and micro-organism, the genes they contain and the
ecosystem they form.

The Himalayas are the tallest and youngest
mountain in the world and they are still growing. These are hundreds of
mountains over 7000 m in height in Nepal. the highest being Mt. Everest-8848 m

The elevation of the country ranges from 60 m
above the sea level to the highest point of the earth all within the distance
of 150 km.

Nepal can boost of having a biological diversity
and embraces a rich variety of living organism and the ecological complex they
inhabit.

surface yet, compare to the area it occupies, it supports globally and is the
