Effects of climate change to agriculture and food security



1.       Global agriculture will face many challenges over the coming decades
2.       Some agricultural region will be retained by climate change, while other may be benefited
3.       Higher temperature will influence production pattern
4.       Soil moisture will be affected by changing precipitation pattern
5.       More carbon dioxide in the atmosphere cloud boost productivity
6.       The productivity of rangelands and pastures would also be affected
7.       The global yields from marine fisheries should remain unchanged by global warming
8.       Food scarcity risks are primarily local and national
9.       The most vulnerable people are the landless poor and isolated
10.   Effective policies can help to improve food security.
